Your Time Commitment & Our Commitment to You:
If you are in randomized to the EMDR therapy group: 4 hours total (with assessment completion)
If you are in the control/waitlist group, 2 hours (with assessment completion)**
**Those in the control group will be offered the intervention after data collection which equates to an additional 4 hours, but this is optional
All participants will be given a comphrenhensive list of Massachusetts support services. There will be periodic check-ins throughout the study to make sure there is no additional distress throughout the process. Participants can always contact the team with questions or concerns anytime during their participation in the project.
