The Post-Traumatic Growth Group PLLC
For more than 15 years, Michelle Marchese has been dedicated to trauma-focused therapy, supporting people in reclaiming connection, security, and meaning in their lives, even if they don’t name their experience as trauma. As the founder and clinical director of Post-Traumatic Growth Group, she leads with the belief that healing is possible and that no one has to do it alone.
The team at Post-Traumatic Growth Group all work in a warm, collaborative way to help clients move toward a life they choose. Everyone is experienced in EMDR and Flash therapy, body-based methods that help people process painful memories, calm the nervous system, and restore a sense of balance and ease. They also incorporate parts work, a gentle method that helps people understand the different sides of themselves, like the part that worries, the part that protects, or the part that carries old pain.
The practice honors that healing unfolds within systems, histories, and identities that shape how people move through the world. Their work creates space to explore these realities with care, curiosity, and support, moving toward liberation and expansiveness.
Therapists offer sessions in person in Northampton, MA, and online throughout Massachusetts, with many accepting insurance.
Alongside leading the practice, Michelle provides supervision, consultation, EMDR certification, and trauma intensives both in person and online for clients in Massachusetts, Maine, and Connecticut.
